Recently, the final round of the 3rd “Guanghua Cup” Gigabit Optical Network Application Innovation Competition – Digital Intelligence SMEs and Micro-enterprises Thematic Competition was successfully held in China. The project “Extreme Optical Network, Innolight Future” launched by CBC Tech, in collaboration with China Unicom Suzhou Branch and InnoLight stood out among thousands of entries and won the national second prize in this special competition.

The special competition is jointly hosted by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and China Unicom. It aims to empower the digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises through innovative solutions and practical applications of Gigabit Optical Network, and to build a solid network foundation for forging new quality productivity and supporting the promotion of new industrialization.

More than 1,700 application cases were solicited for this special competition, and 53 excellent cases were finally selected after preliminary and final rounds of selection, and awarded first, second and third prizes respectively. The selection is the industry’s high affirmation and recognition of the results of the tripartite cooperation.

With the continuous advancement of global economic integration, more and more Chinese enterprises are actively “going out” to join the global market. In this process, the construction of a global “Computing-Networking Integration” digital base to gather new productivity, support the construction of a new digital infrastructure, empower enterprises to interconnect their global branches, and achieve the integration of the company’s domestic, foreign branches and subsidiaries networks has become an inevitable direction of the digitalization and informatization development of enterprises.

In this joint competition, the project “Extreme Optical Network, Innolight Future – Creating a New Paradigm of ‘Global Smart Manufacturing'” is based on the current background demand. By building a global “Computing-Networking Integration” private network and a unified network management platform for enterprises, it meets various types of needs such as global networking and interconnection.

The project uses SD-WAN smart dedicated line and MPLS VPN networking to ensure that each node and various access methods of the enterprise can achieve hybrid networking, node interconnection, flexible deployment and cloud functions, and supports the arbitrary connection of enterprise headquarters and branches in multiple scenarios such as production, office, and operation. At the same time, it provides a safe, reliable and unified network management platform for enterprise networking, realizing a global service portal and a package, one-stop, full-process, full-network coverage of full-service. With eNet Connect, enterprises can set up more branches or offices in target regions according to business needs and globalization strategy without having to worry too much about network access and connectivity quality, thus effectively helping them to improve operational efficiency and empowering their global business development.

As a leading Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider, CBC Tech is committed to providing enterprises with next-generation network solutions. CBC Tech will take this award as a new starting point to continue to intensify innovation, promote innovation and practice in the field of enterprise digitalization, and join hands with partners to draw a grand blueprint of the digital future, lay a solid foundation for the new industrial network, empower and increase efficiency for industry development, and inject intelligent power for industrial upgrading.
