A groundbreaking achievement in the industry! CBC Tech has been awarded the SD-WAN Ready 2.0 certificate, certified for both SD-WAN and IPv6+

Home / News / A groundbreaking achievement in the industry! CBC Tech has been awarded the SD-WAN Ready 2.0 certificate, certified for both SD-WAN and IPv6+

Recently, CBC Tech’s self-developed eNet Connect SD-WAN solution has successfully passed the SD-WAN Ready 2.0 – SD-WAN+”IPv6+” Convergence Solution test, initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and (CCSA TC621). With this outstanding performance in various indicators, CBC Tech became the first company in the industry to pass the SD-WAN+ “IPv6+” convergence solution evaluation and was awarded the SD-WAN Ready 2.0 certificate.

The SD-WAN Ready 2.0 SD-WAN+”IPv6+” Converged Solution Evaluation is led by CAICT and based on 25 strict standards, aiming to meet the common needs of users in various industries, and to better guide and promote the development of the industry. CBC Tech successfully completed the evaluation, affirming that its prowess in the realm of SD-WAN+”IPv6+” convergence solutions stands at the forefront of the industry.

China stands among the early adopters of IPv6 testing and application worldwide. Positioned as a pivotal technology for future connectivity, IPv6 not only offers vast address resources but also serves as fundamental support for bolstering network capacity, driving technological innovation, and facilitating industrial upgrading. It plays a crucial role in the establishment of a robust networked nation and the realization of a digital China. Anticipated by 2025 to 2030, China aims to completely phase out the use of IPv4 addresses in new systems or networks. To expedite the unlocking of IPv6 technology’s potential and advantages, as well as to comprehensively propel the evolution and innovative application of IPv6 technology, the MIIT along with eight other departments, issued the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Development of IPv6 Technology Evolution and Application Innovation” in 2023. This initiative envisions significant progress in IPv6 technology evolution and application innovation by the end of 2025. The result includes enhancement in network technology innovation capabilities and an expanded application scope for innovative technologies such as “IPv6+.” The integrated application level of IPv6+ in key industries is expected to witness substantial improvement, accompanied by the clarification of multiple specific development goals.

With the rapid development of digitalization today, cross-regional enterprises and enterprises going to the cloud have become the norm, and the demand for connectivity between headquarters and branch offices as well as between multiple clouds is becoming more and more urgent. Enterprises need to have links that meet high bandwidth, low latency, and high reliability, but also want to realize the transmission of general services at a lower cost, so SD-WAN solutions have become the preferred choice for enterprises.

With the large-scale deployment of IPv6 in domestic and international network environments, SD-WAN using IPv6 as the underlying transport protocol is an inevitable trend for future development. Innovative applications such as IPv6 stealth communication technology greatly enhance transmission security, and SD-WAN using the basic framework of IPv6 as the base for secure transmission can provide users with higher security transmission assurance. The integration of SRv6 technology into SD-WAN proves advantageous in bridging the cloud and network edges. The programmable capabilities of SRv6 facilitate seamless management of complex multilinks and path scheduling. This capability empowers customers to judiciously select optimal paths within a range of possibilities, departing from the limitations of traditional routing protocols that rely solely on shortest paths. This approach enhances the wide area network’s bandwidth utilization, data transmission efficiency, and reduces network latency, ultimately optimizing the overall network experience.

CBC Tech has been proactive in advancing technological frontiers. Drawing on years of technological expertise, CBC Tech innovatively integrates SRv6, IPv6 zero-trust stealth communication technology, IVI, and more with SD-WAN overlay technology and multiple service capabilities. The result is the introduction of a novel SD-WAN+ “IPv6+” integration solution – CBC eNet Connect SD-WAN. This solution supports hybrid SD-WAN networking scenarios, such as IPv4/IPv6 traffic scheduling, effectively addressing challenges like high latency and packet loss in global access through IPv4 to IPv6 conversion.

This innovative solution contributes to the advancement of key industries by enhancing the scope and level of “IPv6+” convergence applications. It offers optimized undelay management for SD-WAN, simplifying deployment and ensuring efficient operation and maintenance. Additionally, it grants customers greater autonomy and cost-effective options in terms of security, service identification, and intelligent routing.

As a technology innovator with over a decade of experience in the network domain, CBC Tech remains attuned to market demands, consistently innovating and providing high-quality network services across various industries. From all verticals of sectors, CBC Tech aims to continue its forward momentum. The commitment is to deliver an enhanced, secure, and flexible network experience to customers, assisting them in achieving high-quality digital development.
